The first two paragraphs (bold and normal) praise the exit from Egypt and God's work "When the people of Israel left Egypt, when the house of Jacob left the foreign place, Jehovah became his holly place, Israel his government. The sea saw and retired, and the Jordan (river) turned back..." The last paragraph tells of the fundamental Pessah duties: preparing the right Pessah table with the right ingredients and rituals.
